Decide the week on Sunday, and nobody asks you again.

The week sits on the fridge and on everyone’s phone, with the kids’ meal on its own line and the list priced before you shop, so whoever is home first just starts cooking.

Plan next weekFree while in beta. After that S$6.90 a month for the whole household, and the board and the list stay free.

Dinner is the hardest part of the day

  1. It is on your mind from breakfast and still undecided at five, with a phone in one hand and a child in the other.

  2. Whoever cooks waits for your message, and the kids get whatever is quickest.

  3. Then the run to the shop in the middle of dinner for the one thing you forgot, again.

How a week goes

  1. Sunday, fill the board

Pick from recipes you already cook, tap Fill empty dinners for the ones you have not had lately, or copy last week and change two nights. The kids’ line sits under each dinner with its own portions.

  2. The list writes itself

Every ingredient from every recipe, by aisle, priced at your usual shop with the week’s total at the top. Nothing for the nights marked Not cooking.

  3. Whoever cooks opens it

Your partner, the helper or the grandparents open the same board on their own phone. Tapping tonight opens the recipe scaled to the portions you planned.

  4. Wednesday, from the fridge

A spare tablet on the fridge shows the week in type you can read from the stove, with a code that opens tonight’s recipe on a phone.

Wednesday says oyakodon, so that is what we are having.

Sunday, ten minutes. Fill the week’s lunches and dinners, with the kids’ meals on their own line. Your partner, the helper or the grandparents open the same board on their own phone, and a tablet on the fridge shows it in type you can read from the stove. Nobody asks, because they can see.

The week board on a phone: Wednesday with lunch, dinner and a kids dinner

A real screen, not a mock-up

One of our own weeks in October. The kids’ line is theirs and the board is the whole house’s.

Before you ask

Does the helper need to set anything up?

One invite link. They sign in once on their own phone and see the same board as you.

We eat out and order in. Does that break it?

Mark a night Not cooking or Leftovers in one tap. It stays on the board and leaves the shopping list.

The kids eat something different.

Turn on the kids’ line. It sits under each dinner with its own portions, and the list adds it up with everything else.

Is it free?

Free while we are in beta. After that every household starts with fourteen days of everything, with no card asked for. Then the board and the list stay free, and the household plan is S$6.90 a month or S$59 a year for everyone in the house.

What would you want next?

Not built yet. One tap tells us which to build first.

  • A screen for the fridge

A paper-like display on the fridge door that shows the week and updates itself.

    Coming soon
  • A phone app

Kitchen Stock as an app, with a nudge when the plan changes.

    Coming soon
  • Who does what

Who shops, who cooks, who can change the plan, set per person.

    Coming soon
